The FDA-approved pecan finish enhances the set's veneer, while also preventing splintering. To clean the chairs, wipe them down with a soft damp cloth and use a mild soap on marks and stains. Dry off immediately to prevent water damage to the wood. The set's design best befits indoor use. Upon delivery, some assembly is required. The chairs match Lipper International's 514 and 534 table and chair sets, and are also available in natural, cherry, and white. Each chair measures 13-3/4 by 14-1/2 by 25-1/2 inches. The chairs arrived on the designated date of deliveray, but they were pretty well damaged. I think it was UPS that delivered them, and we sent a note to Serena to let her know what happened. She answered right away and told us what she had to do. She kept us in the loop pretty good. We decided to send some pictures just incase she needed something to show, but in the meantime she had the paperwork going and the chairs were replaced just about the time she said they would be. She was very helpful. She just asked us to be patient, which we were, and everything came through good.
